I was scheduled to be induced on Monday March 30th but started having contractions early Sunday morning. After hours of timing them we finally decided to head to the hospital. Well they usually say that the second labor is shorter than the first but unfortunately in this case that wasn't true. I was having regular contractions but they weren't doing anything so they decided to try the pitocin. The pitocin made the contractions stronger but I was still not making any progress. So after twelve hours of sitting with contractions they finally decided to break my water. That was at 4:00pm on Sunday. Around 4:30 I got the epidural and a half an hour later went from being dialeted from a 4 to a 7. I had been dialated at a 4 since the time I arrived at the hospital. An hour later the nurse came in and I was at a ten and ready for delivery. So she called the doctor and after 15 minutes of pushing Paisley was finally here. She is perfect and a really good baby. Jaxon is adjusting well, we are just trying our best to keep his routine the same with little interruptions. We are now home from the hospital and are ready to start our lives as a family of four. Holy smokes, Shan! You have a beautiful daughter! I'm so glad things went smoothly and everybody is happy and healthy. We need to see more pictures of your new family! I'm so happy for you and Jared to have this new, perfect bundle of joy. Keep us updated.

Hey congrats!! I didn't know you were so close to having this baby and I just looked at your blog and boom, she's here! She's so beautiful! Let me know how parenting two kids goes...I'm about 2 months behind you!!
sheesh...15 mins of contracting! thats gotta hurt. she looks like jared! cant wait to see your little dolly!
